Job Duties: • Work within an early stage technology start-up offering fraud detection and financial crime intelligence platform leveraging machine learning, artificial intelligence, neural networks and large language models to drive innovation, optimize processes, and enhance decision-making.• Utilize statistical and data analytics to impact the customer experience through development of new functionalities on the company’s proprietary platform• Guide programmers and developers in the writing of high-quality code that is scalable, maintainable, and production-ready• Develop and maintain FiVerity’s synthetic identity fraud and identity theft machine learning models through the entire model lifespan including data acquisition, focusing labeling resources and feedback, model training, experimentation, productionalization, and monitoring• Perform exploratory data analysis on proprietary sparse data and anomaly detection techniques to address high class data imbalance• Design, perform, and present mathematical and statistical analyses that inform data acquisition, product development, marketing, and sales efforts• Contribute to the development of optimized data pipelines to feed ML models• Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure functionality balances the needs of customers, the organization, and the market• Develop and maintain MLOps ecosystemDegree and Experience Requirements:• Minimum Degree Required: Master of Science in Mathematics, Data Science or Management Information Systems.• Minimum Experience Required: Four (4) years of experience as a data scientist• Special Requirements: The 4 years of required experience must include at least two (2) years creating models for synthetic identity fraud and identity theft, working in anomaly fraud detection with sparse or highly imbalanced data and at least one (1) year working within a start-up companyAnnual salary: $170,000 - $175,000 To apply, please email resumes directly to employer at careers@fiverity.com, ref job code: FV1.
